I’ve wanted to try afternoon tea at this place or a long time now. I’ve come for their macarons a few times and always enjoyed them. Since I had the weekend off my friend and I decided to come here for their tea service.
Reservations are required and there is a seating time of 90 minutes. Although I usually stay much longer than 90 minutes when I have tea with friends, it’s understandable that they need to set a time limit since the place is fairly small, perhaps only 5 tables. They also have gluten and vegan free options and their afternoon tea times are preset.
When you first arrive they will ask you to pick a tea and a macaron at the counter before sitting down. They had a large range of interesting macarons and tea.
I liked the floral printed napkins, it was perfect for the spring weather we had that day and added some colour to the setting. I had the creme early grey which was delicious. At one point we got confused as we didn’t know where to put the strainer, eventually we just took our cup off the plate and placed it there.
My friends gorgeous bright yellow YSL bag. The colour is amazing and vibrant, I love it!

My favorite from this plate was the satay chicken with mango sauce wrapped in a lace crepe. I also enjoyed the salmon mousse on the pastry but there was too much cilantro for me to like the ceviche, although that’s a personal preference since I’m not a fan of cilantro at all.

The raspberry scones were good and I really liked the red pepper sandwiches topped with cucumber. There was also berry jam and a lemon butter to accompany the scones. The matcha cake was also good.

I like the meringue tart here the best followed by the strawberry shortcake in a cup and then the macaron. The truffle had an interesting flavor but I can’t say I’m a fan.
The afternoon tea service here is priced at 36$ per person. Although I feel that the price range is average for the area, there are many tea places close by that serve more food with their tea set. However the quality of the food here impressed me and I think it is worth the price tag.
